New symptoms

Over the last week I have started to get some numbness in the upper left arm, just below the shoulder, and aching in the left forearm, as if I have been weightlifting.  No recollection of doing anything to instigate this.

I have tried to contact Mr Sepahi’s secretary a few times in the last few days.  Eventually spoke to Dr Pinto’s secretary, Vicky, who took some details and said she would email Mr Sepahi, his secretary, Dr Pinto and Dr Patel.  Had a call back from Mr Sepahi in the afternoon.  He has discussed the arm symptoms with Dr Pinto and they both feel it shouldn’t be related to the herniation due to the position of it.  He will speak to the radiologist about my most recent MRI and will consider arranging a further MRI of my neck.  I asked about a possible date for surgery and he was quite sharp, saying he has lots of patients to deal with.  He also mentioned needing to arrange neural monitoring before the op.  Presumably that means waiting for that to happen and then arrange a date for surgery.
