Follow-up appointment with Mr S. Informed him that:
- Hyper sensitivity is almost gone
- Not stumbling nearly as much
- Still can’t feel temp nor cuts etc in right leg
- Left leg goes in to spasms. Happens mostly at night when I turn over
- Back very stiff overnight and in the morning
- Numb across back and chest still
- Still get wobbly when getting up from some chairs
His view is that he was only ever expecting to stop deterioration, and that seems to have happened. Will refer me for an MRI to check the spinal cord, but if all ok will refer me back to the GP. Has suggested the GP refer me to a pain specialist if the back pain continues.
