Ultrasound result & follow-up MRI

I had a phone appointment with the GP regarding the U/S report today.  As noted by the radiologist at the time it is not a hernia after all, but my stomach muscles have separated.

US Anterior Abdominal Wall :
The abdominal wall appears intact, but there is wide separation of the rectus sheath.  The linea alba is intact but during straining and valsalva, or with the head in flexed position, there is bulging of intraabdominal fat, accounting for the clinical appearances.
Appearances are more of a divarification of the rectus sheath, rather than a hernia.

GP assures me it is nothing to worry about, and it will probably correct itself over time.

I also had my 6-month follow-up MRI.  Report should be available in a couple of weeks.
