I had quite a bit of pain most of yesterday. I spent most of the morning sat in the chair but went back to bed to watch the Russian GP. The physio came in the afternoon and I managed to walk round to the loo with her help. We discussed using a frame but she felt it would be better to walk with someone beside me than to get used to using a frame and then have to learn to walk without it. I didn’t get too much extra pain when walking but I am very unsteady and i have no confidence that either leg will support me. She also gave me some gentle exercises to do in bed to start getting my spine moving again.
After the physio, mum and my sister came for an hour or so and not long after they left, C came in.
I’ve been getting itchy all over my torso today and a few areas look like I might have a bit of a rash. It’s probably a heat rash as much as anything. One of the nurses said that the oramorph can cause itching so she got some piriton prescribed for me. Quite uncomfortable in the evening and couldn’t settle for sleep until nearly midnight.
