We had a day out at Trevaskis Farm on Monday. There are many great things about having a grand child, and I found a new one on Monday in that I could be extremely helpful and push the buggy, and no one would know I was actually using it as a Zimmer frame! 😀 By the latter part of the afternoon I was starting to feel it pull across my back and so reverted to using my stick. I’d had an extra tramadol earlier in the day as I was still quite uncomfortable from the drive down on Sunday, and anticipated that getting worse as we went walking. I’m glad I did.
Later that evening and overnight I had a lot of pain, most notably around my left shoulder blade. In addition to the general back pain I also had short sharp stabbing pains front and back on the left side of my torso, and these would be interspersed with much more acute and wide spread stabbing pains around my left shoulder blade, along with an almost constant feeling of having got sunburn around the area. This continued into the morning so I took an extra tramadol and it started easing off. We went down to the Lizard for a picnic lunch and I felt ok walking around there. We had planned on going to Lands End, but it was already mid afternoon so we didn’t have a lot of time, and I was feeling quite tired by the time we got back to the car so we came straight back to S&B’s.
Had an odd night last night. I’m not aware that I was in pain particularly, but I struggled to sleep.
