(No) news from the surgeon

I had a call from Mr Sepahi’s secretary earlier, following up on the letter from Dr Penny. They hadn’t heard anything from Queen’s Square (as the neuro hospital in London is apparently referred to), so she had called them. There is no report on the MRI yet, and no correspondence from the surgeon there. They said they would transfer the images to Southampton, and Mr Sepahi’s secretary said she would make sure he knows to take a look. I pointed out that just showing him the images seemed a little pointless as it was the second opinion we were after. After all, if it was just about having another MRI, I could’ve had that done in Southampton and saved all the hassle we went through. She will ring Queen’s Square again to see what follow up they have planned, and will also talk to Mr Sepahi about it to see if he can chase things up. In the meantime she has given me the contact number at Queen’s Square so that I can ring them directly if I don’t hear from them.
