Weekly update

Hydrotherapy had to be cancelled again on Thursday due to ongoing problems with the pool, so I’m now booked in for September 28th.  Unfortunately that makes it about 8 weeks since I’ve done the hydro exercises.

Saturday morning was the start of the puppy’s intermediate training class.  I wasn’t feeling great so I went along but sat in the corner of the paddock and watched what they were doing.  I’ve had some pretty rough nights again, and they seem to be getting more frequent.  It’s having an impact on my general well being now and making everything else a bit of a struggle.  I’ve been trying to do at least some of my exercises every day, and sometimes I manage all of them.  On the whole I think they are getting a bit easier, which suggests my balance is improving gradually.  I had a gym session this afternoon and it all went pretty well, except perhaps the small version of the boze ball which was horrendous (not sure what it was called – it was about the size of a basketball, which had been half flattened).

I still haven’t heard back from neuro, so I gave Mr Sepahi’s secretary a call today.  She spoke to one of his registrars, who said there wasn’t anything “acutely” they intend to do at the moment, but she will make sure Mr Sepahi has seen my report and expects him to want to see me in clinic.  Just need to wait for an appointment now I guess.
