After the fun and games of getting to the MRI appointment on Monday, I was expecting to be in a lot of pain on Tuesday, but as it was I wasn’t too bad. I’m still glad I took the extra day off though.
In anticipation for the Christmas party on Friday, I didn’t take any tramadol on Thursday evening, in the hope I’d be able to have a couple of beers with the team. Friday afternoon was spent at a meeting in Winchester and there was quite a bit of walking around to it, and the from there to Winchester station, carrying my rucksack with my laptop and sorted other things in. By the Time we got to the party it was in full swing and I had that few beers with the team I’d promised myself. I left reasonably early and had a decent night sleep. The following morning was not good. I had a lot of pain and took a tramadol in the morning to get me through the day, and the the usual one in the evening. Sunday was a little better and I managed to be fairly productive at home.
Yesterday and today were manic at work. Despite the fact I’d blocked time out for a Pre-Christmas catch-up, events took over and the days turned into rather long ones, and I can feel I’m starting to feel the consequences. Last day before 2 weeks leave tomorrow though. 😀
