The pain didn’t improve during the day on Wednesday, and having spent a couple of hours in the afternoon stuck at my desk on a video conference, I was in poor shape by the time I left work. I was supposed to have a couple of days leave, but ended up having to work yesterday. At least I was able to work at home so could move about as and when I needed. The downside is doing even longer days because I tend to start work when I’d normally be having breakfast, and don’t stop until we have our evening meal.
I did have today as leave, although optician in the morning, followed by the dentist and hygienist in the afternoon hardly made for a relaxing day. On the positive side, the shortness of breath has been less intense and far less frequent. I strongly suspect the worst period a couple of weeks ago was because it was coming up to the 20th anniversary of Dad’s fatal heart attack. My BP still hasn’t been great when I’ve measured it, but I haven’t felt as bad in myself.
