That irritation in my eye that I mentioned last time got worse so I rang the eye unit who said I should go to eye casualty. Apart from the fact I was shocked and irritated to discover they are using books and paper diaries to manage their bookings 😲 I was pleased to be seen relatively quickly. It turns out I somehow managed to scratch my eye ball. I’d thought it was just some sawdust or something from cleaning out the garage at the weekend, but apparently I’d actually scratched the surface. Two lots of eyedrops for at least two weeks, plus some antibiotic eyedrops for a week.
