Getting a little anxious about when the surgery will be. When I was told I needed it urgently, I was asked if I had any holiday booked, and when I said I was planning to go to Cornwall at the end of May because my grandson was due, I was told I couldn’t wait that long. Since that is now only a week away I have tried to find out when I will be coming in for surgery. I spoke to Mr Sepahi’s secretary today. He is on leave this week. She had asked him to put some more patients on to theatre lists before he went on leave, but he deferred until he comes back on Monday. She thinks his lists are full until week beginning 13th June though, unless he fits me in to one of his on-call lists. As she has just transferred from cardiology she doesn’t know how long various operations take, and therefore doesn’t know what will fit in where. She will put my file at the top for him to review on return.
