I had the MRI on my cervical spine this morning. I was only due to be in for about 20 minutes, so I only took a small amount of diazepam to help me stay still. After a few images were done they said they need to do more of the thoracic spine as well so I was in there for another 12 minutes, by which time I was starting to feel quick twitchy.
The radiographer advised me that, once I’ve had the stimulator fitted I will need to have all future scans done at the general hospital, as they will need to reprogram the stimulator after a scan.
Next step is waiting for the call from Mr Mundil with potential dates for the surgery. 🤞🏻
